How do I begin an order? We recommend first downloading our Ordering Guide by clicking here. The guide will answer many of your questions and provide with a good outline for gathering your information. Also feel free to drop us an email us at paperdreamsdesign@comcast.net.
Can you provide a preliminary quote? Yes! Because we offer custom design products, we’ll start with an email consultation to gather your likes and specifications for your project(s). From there, we will provide a quote for any project.
What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, check or money order due before shipping or at pickup. If you prefer to pay online with your credit card, just let us know and we will send your final invoice via Paypal.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do no refunds of any kind. Reprints are available at a discounted price. We strongly encourage you to review your proofs carefully. A second set of eyes is always helpful! Once approval is granted on final approval, we are not responsible for typos or omissions. If you are unsure of product quality from our online gallery, we suggest you order a sample ahead of time to ensure your satisfaction. All card stock used is 65 lb or higher cover weight. Wedding program insert pages are laser printed on 24 lb paper in a 96 white brightness (ivory also available).
When should I begin my wedding order? Wedding orders should ideally be placed two months prior to wedding date. Remember, it is never too early to place an order. Even if you don’t have all your information finalized, we can get started on design and ensure your paper/ribbon colors are in stock.
What is the $50 deposit? To begin design on your wedding project, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Our calendar fills up quickly with weddings during summer and fall. You are in a way “reserving” our time in the weeks leading up to your wedding. The full deposit is then applied towards your final balance.
How do you determine the design of my wedding project? Once you submit your $50 deposit along with your order form, we’ll begin consultation on what you envision for your project. In our Ordering Guide, you’ll answer a variety of questions that will give us a feel for your wedding style. The more you tell us, the better we can do at creating the perfect design for you. We will alter any designs you see on our website to match your style and colors - or come up with something completely new!
Is there an extra charge to include photographs? Not at all! Just e-mail us a high-resolution jpeg (minimum of 300 dpi please). If you don’t have the digital file, you’re welcome to mail us your photo and we’ll scan it for you. If you’d like black & white, sepia, or antique color, we will do that at no extra charge also.
What are shipping costs? Local orders are available for free pickup in Peoria, IL. All other wedding orders will be quoted per project, as shipping varies greatly by item and your location. Generally, programs ship for approx. $13 per 100 pieces. Invitations run a bit more at $15 per 100 pieces.
Is there a minimum order? Since we offer custom design free on all of our products, there is a $50 minimum order on wedding invitations and programs.
What is a Rush Order? Orders that are placed five weeks or less prior to wedding date are considered “Rush” in order to have them designed, printed, assembled, and delivered in time. There is a $50.00 Rush fee automatically added to these orders. In a nutshell, rush orders are given priority due to their date, but will NOT bump other standing orders off schedule. This does not include overnight shipping.
What if the wedding is cancelled? Every bride’s worst nightmare, but it happens. The $50 deposit is non-refundable. Please contact us as soon as possible to place a stop on your order. Depending on where your order is in the process, we’ll evaluate each order on a a case-by-case basis. If programs have already been shipped, sorry, order has been completed.

I don’t see a template gallery for invitations and cards? We custom design all of our cards to coordinate with your wedding. This allows us to include as many photos as you like, utilize unique wording, graphics and colors, etc. Email us at paperdreamsdesign@comcast.net to begin your order.
Are envelopes included? White square-flap envelopes are included with most specialty card orders. Postcards do not include envelopes, but have a blank mailing section on the backside.
Should I edit my pictures? No. To get the best quality, we start with the original unedited photo. We will correct any red eye or imperfections in photos and crop for best fit. If you’d like black & white, sepia, or antique color, we will do that at no extra charge also.
How do I take the best quality picture? Some golden rules for shooting your own photos... Natural light is always best without a flash. The bigger the file size, the better the quality. Set your digital camera’s megapixel setting at the highest possible. Scanned photos should be 300-600 dpi resolution for best quality.
How do I submit my photo if I don’t have a digital file? You can mail us the photo. We will scan it and return the photo to you with your order. Remember - All photos taken professionally require a release from the photographer.
Can I print them myself? Yes, you can purchase the design and print the 4x6 design yourself. For a $25.00 design fee, we will email the final approved design to you as a high-resolution JPEG file. You can print as many as you like, from wherever you like.
